Super 4 Competition Rules Modified.

The PFA Board has taken into consideration the late comments put forward by a few players, The PFA Board's primary intention is to insure that a majority of players (Open and Over 60 categories) in Australia take part in a competition played in their own State with the winners representing their state in the Super 4 2017 Final. Registration date has now been set at the 16 December 2016
 
New format 4 games instead of 5

-       Total score of 5 points per match, thus avoiding possibility of a draw

New proposed format for the super 4 2017
 
Format: 4 games per match between 2 teams

 

Each team to form their teams and lodge them with the umpire prior to the start of the match
1st round               
o    1 Double Mixed Game

o    1 Double Mixed Game

o    13 points or time has set up by State League,  + 1 end, + 1 extra end if team on equal score

o    1 point for a  win for each game

2nd round

o    1 Single Woman Game

o    1 Mixed triple Game

o    13 points or time has set up by State League, + 1 end, + 1 extra end if team on equal score

o    1 point for a win for single Game

o    2 points for a win for the mixed triple

-       SCORING:

-       Winner of the match between the 2 teams is the team with the highest number of points scored. (See above scoring per game)

The PFA Board is looking forward to a large participation and encourage all of you to distribute information to your members. All registrations received to date are valid and registered.
