The event was contested over the Easter weekend and included a Tir de Precision Championships and a Triples event. The competition attracted two teams from Thailand and one team from New Caledonia, as well as four players from New Zealand.
The two Thailand teams were the reigning Women's World Champions and Junior World Champions.
After three days of strong competition, the finals were played with great interest in the standard of play and the obvious skill standard.
Many players acknowledged the opportunity to play against teams of very high standard and that they had learnt a few 'tricks'.
